How to set a default chart in MT4?

To set a default chart template in MetaTrader 4, right-click on the chart and select “Template”, then choose “Save Template”. If you wish to save the template as your default, right-click on the chart again, select “Template”, then “Save As”, name it “Default” (without quotes), and click “Save”.

This will set your saved template as the default template for any new charts you open in MetaTrader 4.
