Connection status in MetaTrader4

To check if your MT4 terminal is connected to the server, you need to check the connection status on the “Status bar,” located in the lower part of the terminal, below all service windows.

Making the Status Bar Visible

Go to the “View” menu.
Click on the “Status Bar” button to ensure it is visible.

Understanding Connection Status Indicators

 Fully Red: No connection with the selected server due to an Internet connection problem or an invalid password.

 Green/Red: Direct connection to the server.

 Green/Blue: Connection through a data center.
